ADULT CLONE CLASSES
Any color Box Stock Clone 1"x 22" long Header or smaller 390 lb Rules.
Any color Box Stock Clone 1"x 22" long Header or smaller 340 lb Rules.
No mufflers are needed on the adult classes. If we get too many complaints from the City we may have to change that.
If we don't get enough karts in either class to run a competitive race we will combine the classes and run a 370 lb class.
Clone Classes are Box Stock
All parts are to be stock factory production unless specifically noted.
There is absolutely no machining or alteration of parts unless specifically noted.
Adult 1"x 22" or JR 5/8 Header with Muffler, Stamped Drum Style Clutch.
Pump Gas only 87 or 93 Octane [NO ADDITIVES]
Highly recommended, but not required, the stock fuel tank be replaced
with a floor mount tank.

I-90 Speedway will used a Motor Claim to Police OHV Clone Class
Top five to tech, only the top five can claim. To claim you must
pay $ 150.00 plus Motor Exchange. The Motor must be off the
Kart you raced and in good running condition
You keep your Air Filter & Adapter, Header, Muffler, Clutch, Fuel Tank,
Fuel Pump, Motor Mounts, & Chain Guard
You are allowed one claim per Year
Any one that refuses the Claim will be banned from the track for One Year.
We reserve the right to change or modify any or all rules, and to tech any or all Karts.
The claim rule will not apply to Putt-Putt and JR Gas Classes
Race Procedure
1) I-90 Speedway is governed by all I.K.F. Rules except for local options the speedway board may change modify or cancel
any race, class or rule during the season in order to keep a competitive balance.
2) Each kart must have a number on both sides front and rear numbers are to be on a white panel with a black # if your #
can't be read you will not be scored, # are on a first come first serve basis.... kart # is locked in for season with membership !!!
3) Engine Protest is $150 cash given to the pit stewart before the kart that is protesting leaves the hot grid by scale after
feature race, if karts engine is found legal the protested kart keeps $125 tech man gets $25, if the engine is not legal the
kart that did the protest gets a $125 back and tech man still gets $25
4) Need to have 4 or more karts to have a class
5) Classes will run 2-8 lap heats and 14 lap features putt-putt class will be 6 & 10 laps
6) A Rolled Black Flag is a warning!
7) Starting position is drawn for at sign in. Second heat to be inverted.
8) Features are a heads up start from heat points.
9) Ties revert back to the draw at sign in.
10) If you don't make weight you are DQ'ed, Last place points are awarded, racer must take the green flag to receive
points for that race. If you are found to have illegal parts or fuel you will be DQ'ed 1st time you will receive
last place points, 2nd time you will receive no points.
11) Top 3 karts in feature are to report to the tech area after race for post race tech inspection, tech official may require
inspection of any component at any time.
12) Two unassisted yellows in each race that kart will be black flagged. Flagman's decision is final!
13) Re-starting.... you will be allowed one time to restart the engine if it kills second time you need to pull off the track
ALL RACERS MUST LEAVE THEIR HELMET ON UNTIL YOU CLEAR THE SCALE OR BE DISQUALIFIED !!!!!!!!
Decisions of the flagman are final and can not be protested !!!
Helmets:
recommended Snell 2005 SA 2005 M, 2005 K, Snell 2000 N, Snell 2000 SA, SFI 31.2a, SFI 41.2a 31.1/2005 41.1/2005 or newer standards of the same type.
Youth Helmet:
for youth under the attained age of 12 must meet one of the above or the SFI 24.1 or 24.1 2005 standardfor youth helmets.
Face shield : All helmets must provide full face coverage with integral face shield/visor. (Sunglasses or goggles not acceptable).
Helmet must be properly secured and in good condition. Must be secure with manufacturer's strap. Any addition of material
for aerodynamics or other is prohibited unless certified by Snell or SFI.
Neck Collar: ALL drivers in ALL divisions must wear an un-altered collar type neck brace designed for motor sports.
This is required when on the track
Chest Protector:
All drivers in ALL Kid Kart, Junior 1 and Rookie classes must wear a chest protector. Chest protectormust be 20.1 SFI certified. This is a pretech item.
Gloves: Required in all divisions.
Clothing:
All drivers in open karts shall wear jackets of heavyweight leather, vinyl material or approved heavyweightabrasion resistant nylon material and full-length pants to prevent/minimize abrasions or a driving suit of 1 or 2 pieces
constructed of heavyweight leather, vinyl material or approved heavyweight abrasion resistant nylon material.
No Nomex only or Proban materials.
No holes allows in pants or other protective clothing.
Footwear:
socks and high top shoes are REQUIRED. Shoes shall cover the ankle bone and be laced or buckled securely as designed.Long hair:
Long hair is a safety tech item. Competitors with long hair will have to demonstrate a safety method ofretaining their hair. Simply tucking into helmet or driving suit is NOT acceptable.
1) No alcoholic beverages during the races.
2) Each racer must have a fire extinguisher and adequate first aid kit .
3) Chassis will be safety checked before racing has started.
4) Any driver purposely placing another driver in danger will be DQ'ed our race track has a exceptional safety record
and we intend to keep it that way (decision of the flagman is final!)
5) Expect suspension for verbal or physical abuse of track officials....... any ? will be dealt with after all races are complete !!
2010 Points system
Heats: 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20 ETC.
Features: 50, 45, 41, 38, 36, 34, 33, 32, 31 ETC.

Once hot laps start all drivers
signed in will be awarded 100 points for showing up in case of a rain-out, if all heat
races are complete it will be considered a complete race and awards and points
will be based on feature lineups if we rain out before heats are complete your
enter fee will be applied to our next race NO REFUNDS
WILL BE GIVEN !
